Why Convert CR3 to PDF?

PDF is the standard for print submissions and portfolios. Convert your CR3 files to print-ready PDFs without installing Canon’s software.

How to Convert CR3 to PDF

1

Upload your CR3 file. Files up to 50 MB are supported.

2

The RAW data is decoded and embedded in a 150 DPI PDF.

3

Download your print-ready PDF.

💡

Quality Note

The PDF embeds the full-resolution decoded image at 150 DPI for print and screen use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The decoded CR3 is embedded at full pixel dimensions with 150 DPI page geometry, so a 45 MP EOS R5 frame prints cleanly well past A4. You can request 72 to 600 DPI, which changes the page size rather than resampling the photograph.

Not as EXIF. PDF uses its own document metadata rather than the EXIF block, so camera model, lens and exposure settings do not travel in the form other photo tools read. Choose TIFF or JPG if the shooting record needs to reach the recipient.

Yes. Upload up to 50 CR3 files and enable the multi-page PDF option, and each photo becomes a page in upload order. Without it, every CR3 becomes its own single-page PDF and the set returns as a ZIP.

No. A PDF holds the rendered 8-bit image, not the sensor data, so the exposure latitude that makes the CR3 worth keeping is gone. Archive the CR3 and use PDF for sending a fixed layout someone can open without photo software.
