Quality Note

GIF’s limited palette and flat colors often produce surprisingly clean vector traces. However, dithered GIFs (photographs quantized to 256 colors) produce noisy results because the tracer interprets dithering patterns as edges. Only the first frame of animated GIFs is traced.
