Why Convert RAF to AVIF?
AVIF is usually 20–30% smaller than WEBP again, which compounds across a gallery. The trade is encoding time and thinner support outside browsers. Note that most Fujifilm X bodies use an X-Trans colour filter array rather than the Bayer pattern everyone else uses, so RAF files need a different demosaic to resolve correctly.

Quality Note
AVIF at quality 85 typically beats WEBP by a further 20–30%. Encoding is slower because AV1 evaluates far more options — that search is what produces the smaller file.
