Convert RAF to JPG — Free & Instant
RAF is Fujifilm's RAW format, written by the X-T5, X-H2 and X-Pro3, and the medium-format GFX series. It holds the sensor reading as the camera captured it, which is what gives you room to edit — and what stops browsers, phones and messaging apps from opening it.

Why Convert RAF to JPG?
JPG opens everywhere — every browser, email client, phone and photo editor made in the last thirty years. A Fujifilm RAF runs 25–55 MB; the JPG it produces is typically a tenth of that. Note that most Fujifilm X bodies use an X-Trans colour filter array rather than the Bayer pattern everyone else uses, so RAF files need a different demosaic to resolve correctly.
How to Convert RAF to JPG
Upload your RAF file by dragging it in or clicking to browse. Files up to 50 MB are supported.
KoalaPic decodes the Fujifilm sensor data using the white balance the camera recorded, then encodes a JPG at quality 85.
Download the JPG. Both files are deleted automatically one hour after the conversion.
Quality Note
A Fujifilm RAF holds 14 bits per channel; the JPG holds 8. At quality 85 the difference is invisible on screen, but the editing latitude is gone — keep the RAF if you may want to re-edit.
