Convert RAF to WEBP — Smaller Web Files
A Fujifilm RAF file is 25–55 MB of RAW sensor data, which is not something you put on a web page. WEBP is the modern answer — smaller than JPG at matching quality and supported by every current browser.

Why Convert RAF to WEBP?
WEBP is typically 25–35% smaller than JPG at matching quality and is supported by every current browser. For a Fujifilm shooter publishing 26–40 MP frames, that is bandwidth saved on every view. Note that most Fujifilm X bodies use an X-Trans colour filter array rather than the Bayer pattern everyone else uses, so RAF files need a different demosaic to resolve correctly.
How to Convert RAF to WEBP
Upload your RAF file. Up to 50 files per batch, 50 MB each.
KoalaPic decodes the Fujifilm RAW and encodes WEBP at quality 85 by default.
Download the WEBP, or adjust quality first if you want a smaller file.
Quality Note
WEBP at quality 85 is visually indistinguishable from the JPG equivalent while landing 25–35% smaller. For a 26–40 MP Fujifilm frame that is a meaningful saving on every page load.
