Using KoalaPic on Slack

KoalaPic integrates with Slack for team image conversion, running the same image converter as the website.
Installation
- Visit the KoalaPic website and click the “Add to Slack” button.
- Authorize the app for your workspace.
- The bot appears in your workspace’s app list.
How to convert
- Upload a file to any channel where the app is installed.
- Use the slash command:
/koalapic convert jpg(or any output format). - The converted file is posted back in the thread.

Tips
- The bot watches for file uploads in channels where it’s installed.
- Converted files are posted as threaded replies to keep channels clean.
- Each user gets 30 conversions per hour.
- Works in public channels, private channels, and DMs.
