Why Convert CR3 to AVIF?
AVIF’s AV1 compression delivers files 30-50% smaller than JPG. For photographers sharing EOS R images online, CR3-to-AVIF provides the best quality-to-size ratio.
How to Convert CR3 to AVIF
Upload your CR3 file (up to 50 MB).
KoalaPic decodes the RAW sensor data and encodes to AVIF.
Download the compact AVIF. Files are deleted after 1 hour.
Quality Note
CR3 files contain 14-bit sensor data. The AVIF output is 8-bit sRGB. At quality 80+, the result is visually excellent.
