Why Convert CR2 to AVIF?
AVIF produces files 30-50% smaller than JPG from the same RAW source. For photographers publishing to the web, CR2-to-AVIF delivers the best quality-to-size ratio.
How to Convert CR2 to AVIF
Upload your CR2 file (up to 50 MB).
KoalaPic decodes the RAW sensor data and encodes to AVIF.
Download the compact AVIF file. Files are deleted after 1 hour.
Quality Note
CR2 files contain 12-14 bits per channel. The conversion renders to 8-bit sRGB AVIF. At quality 80+, the output is excellent for web display.
