Convert ICO to WEBP — Smaller, With Alpha
An ICO packs 16, 32, 48 and 256 pixel versions of the same square mark into one file. WEBP is the modern web target: smaller than PNG at the same quality, and one of the few formats that keeps the icon's transparency.

Why Convert ICO to WEBP?
WEBP is 25–35% smaller than PNG for the same icon and keeps transparency, which is the combination that matters when the mark is going onto a page rather than into a browser tab.
How to Convert ICO to WEBP
Upload your .ico file by dragging it in or clicking to browse.
The largest entry is extracted and encoded as WEBP with its alpha channel preserved.
Download the WEBP — smaller than the PNG equivalent and still transparent.
Quality Note
Lossless WEBP reproduces the icon exactly and still beats PNG on size. Lossy WEBP is smaller again but will soften the hard edges that icon artwork is mostly made of, so prefer lossless here.
